...the infamous words at the heart of any discerning Spectrum user, indicating the passage to another level.

Welcome! Oh how it pleases my to write these words; the last few paragraphs. The end is in sight at last! It has been a tough slog getting this first pilot issue of Rewind together but hopefully there will be something in here that will tickle your fancy (give me a retro 'fnar'!) and give you something to look forward to in these post RG times.

As you will note, we've cut the magazine up into easy to follow sections devoted to playing, developing and providing history on various retro-style games. There is also the added bonus of being able to comment on each article, so you can tell us what you thought, or correct any boo-boos we may have made. It's there for you to use, and with your feedback we can point the magazine in the right direction; serving your needs.

If you would like to contribute something to Rewind, then please get in touch. You don't need to be 'gud wiv wurds' because that's what I'm here for. As long as you have something interesting to write about and have the enthusiasm to see it through, we'll be there to help you get your ideas in print.

As a final note, I would just like to say a big thank you to all those involved in this issue. It's been hard work, but worth every minute.
